Newham Sixth Form College, also known as NewVIc, is located in Plaistow in Newham. The college was established in 1992 and with more than 2,500 full-time students, NewVIc is one of London’s largest sixth form colleges. It offers a wide range of subjects and courses from specialist A-level pathways to advanced, intermediate and foundation level vocational courses.
At Newham Sixth Form College we are extremely proud of the position our school plays within our local community. The college is home to a diverse range of sporting academies, clubs, societies and many other organisations. We offer outstanding facilities that are all available for hire and private use.
Our facilities available to hire include an Art Room, Atrium, Car Park, Classrooms, Outdoor Cricket Nets, Dance Studio, ICT Suite, Main Hall, MUGA, Sports Hall and Theatres.
Our lettings are open 7 days a week with extended opening hours during school holidays. There is ample parking available onsite and our friendly staff are always available to help. Changing and shower facilities are available in the sports centre as part of the hire.
The College does not accept bookings for hire from any religious or political groups.
The College only hires to organisations (i.e. those with a defined legal status including private or public entities, charitable organisations and other similar bodies) not to private individuals. The Hirer must hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance cover in a minimum sum of £5 million for each and every claim and must indemnify the College for all claims arising from the Hire.
All booking requests can be completed online where you will be able to view live availability, obtain pricing information, complete the online booking form and make payment. Should you wish to clarify anything, please use the messaging feature.
Please note that we require a minimum of 14 days notice on bookings to be able to guarantee confirmation. Any booking requests made under this time frame risk being declined due to short notice. If in doubt please message the facility before submitting a booking request. Thank you.
